Nate Holmes Trapnell was born and bred in far north Queensland. Moving to Melbourne in 2000 to pursue a career in creative media, Nate has since worked in a range of areas including graphic design, film and event management.

Illustration became his main focus in 2007, deciding to dedicate all his time to his unique cross pollinated style encompassing hot rod, graffiti and comic book influences.

Showcasing this dedication and style in his first solo show in July 2008 "The Fine line" and now as a curator at the new Melbourne gallery "Gorker", Nate calls upon skills accumulated during his time in Melbourne to help other artists exhibit their own work. Nate maintains a firm grounding in
illustration, with ongoing work for corporate clients, as well as participating regularly group and solo shows around Australia.
